I felt to prophesy over an observation a while back. I had my attention to my balcony, with the sun-rays spilling across it and pouring through my sliding glass door. I soon noticed a fly stuck between the glass and my screen door. Freedom was so close if only the fly would shift farther over, as the screen door was halfway open to the outside. The fly, though, kept covering the same radius, never reaching the place where it would find freedom. It was a little frustrating to watch.The fly’s behavior represents where Satan can try to entrap a believer in his or her mind, especially in a difficult spiritual season. Mentally, it can seem like it is never going to end and it seems like there is no victory of getting through it. Don’t believe it! Those are not truths in the kingdom of God. Freedom is near. The season will not last and you are meant to come into freedom, getting through them to experience greater seasons of victory and growth beyond! But, it becomes so vital in each season to live each day by truth over emotions and to continue to intentionally find whatever you can that you are thankful for and to speak that thankfulness for those things which are good, true, and that are current blessings….whether you’re feeling your best or not. Stay active in seeking intimacy with God. Push through with praise and fixed eyes of expectancy that God will continue His plans in your life and not leave you there. Don’t keep yourself there. You will then find freedom and the eventual end to the difficult spiritual season that gives way to a greater season, in Jesus’s Name!
